Under the tutelage of his father, Bill began investing in the stock market in 1971. In addition to learning how to manage his own investments, he has counseled friends and relatives over the years about their investments. He has studied investment theory and history extensively. Bill is especially interested in the field of Behavioral Finance which has demonstrated that we human beings are genetically predisposed to make irrational decisions when it comes to investments and finances.
Bill decided to turn his life-long avocation for investing into a profession by passing the Series 65 exam in 2004 and getting registered with the State of California as an Investment Advisor. He has been working with Barbara at BKB Financial Advisors since that time. He especially enjoys educating clients about investing and helping develop an investment plan to meet their goals while allowing them to sleep soundly at night. Bill has a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. |
